Biñan energizes local folks, downs visiting Macau in TAT Leg 2

Local sensation Poypoy Actub dazzled the crowd and provided the hometown Biñan squad a big lift in its 104-96 triumph over the Macau Black Bears in The Asian Tournament Leg 2 at the Alonte Sports Arena in Biñan, Laguna.
Actub came away with 15 points, including several highlight reels that dazzled the local folks here.
Equally impressive were Jaymar Gimpayan and Junjie Hallare, who tallied the same number of points, while Kenny Rogers Rocacurva chipped in 14 and veteran star KG Canaleta added 12 to showcase the Tatak Gel’s balance production.
The Tatak Gel showed extraordinary effort in carving out points inside the shaded lane as they poured in 58 points, 22 more than their visiting counterparts. Biñan also showed its depth as its relievers outscored the second unit of Macau, 54-17.
Tyree Jamal Robinson had a monster game of 34 points, 19 boards and seven assists, but collectively, Macau failed to get the job done.
